The Challenge

With no gas well or pipeline nearby to deliver the natural gas needed to continuously power the generators, Baseline had to develop a creative fuel supply solution

Issues at Hand

To acquire the contract, Baseline had to overcome the conventional diesel-powered option, since it had long been used as a fuel source by the customer

Limitations

No available supply of natural gas to power the mobile generators

The Baseline Solution

Baseline’s solution was based on employing three (3) 175 kW mobile natural gas generators to deliver a total available power of 525 kW to the project. Baseline also resolved the fueling issue by using LNG as the fuel source to power the mobile generators. In addition, Baseline’s use of three (3) smaller generators provided the customer with redundancy (N+1) in the event that one generator unexpectedly lost power
